“Do you do digital?”

Nail head - if all you have is a hammer every problem looks like a nail

In one word – Yes. In more than one word – Yes. When it is the right thing to do.

We like quotes, proverbs and, in the right place, the odd cliche. One of our favourites is:

When all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail

If you look at every marketing challenge through a digital lens your choice immediately becomes restricted. So at Glass Halo we consider the challenge first, and the channel later.

People who only do digital will tell you it requires a different type of writing that only they can provide. Yet, in test after test, the standard rules of copywriting established by the likes of Claude Hopkins, David Ogilvy and Drayton Bird are shown to be just as effective in digital as they are in more traditional marketing.

So do we do digital? You bet. And so much more too.

* Abraham Maslow originally said  “I suppose it is tempting, if the only tool you have is a hammer, to treat everything as if it were a nail” but we prefer the snappier paraphrasing above.
